Accommodation
The simple accommodation allows up to 20 peopleto stay overnight . Two bedrooms are smaller with a single bed ideal for group leaders. Three bedroom have 2 Bunkbeds sleeping 4 and one room has 3 Bunkbeds sleeping 6 people.
There are two bathrooms on the first floor with showers, hand basins and toilets.
The ground floor has a large meeting room that will accommodate 60 people or can be divided by folding doors for smaller groups.
Two further rooms are available for either dining for meetings. The main meeting rooms are equipped with ‘drywipe’ boards and flipcharts and the House now has WIFI available ( Access code on request)
The Kitchen facilities provide adequate facilities to cook for up to 60 people and crockery and cutlery are provided. The kitchen was re fitted in 2019 to full catering standards and is equipped with a large Fridge, undercounter Freezer, Convection Oven, Induction Hob, Microwave, Mains Boiling water and High speed Dishwasher. All surfaces are now stainless steel. There is a fire proof hatch to the meeting room the with Hot cupboard below.
Separate toilets including are also located on the ground floor together with a Disabled toilet with wheelchair access The house is centrally heated throughout.
There is a ‘Games Room’ in a restored outbuilding accessed from the garden which has a table tennis table and also stores the garden chairs. The Garden also has a brick built BBQ with a capacity to cook food for up to 80 people.
Limited provision can also be made available for tents in the garden with prior permission.
We regret that no dogs are allowed in the House unless with prior agreement.
The House has ample off road car parking at owners risk.
Booking the House. Please use our online Availability form to for check if your dates are free or the Booking form to secure once dates are confirmed. Booking Rates are also online. Bookings can be made 12 months in advance and must be accompanied by a deposit of £30 for daytime use only, and £50 for overnight stays. Subject to notice periods Deposits are refundable or can be transferred to alternate dates.
